The second St. Oberholz location in Berlin Mitte is in a side street off the good old Torstrasse. 400 meters from Rosenthaler Platz, it is the little brother of the St. Oberholz place of origin. Much quieter, but in keeping with the beat of Torstrasse, which is only 50 meters away, is a public working café. In addition to classic coworking structures, the building also includes private offices, team rooms and the LEM roof-top workshop apartment.
The building with many small commercial units in the basement was built in 1868 by one of the Cigar manufacturers. Where today St. Oberholz Café and the coworking lobby is located,
it used to be a building for workers in the GDR, with many wild stories to tell the neighbours about. It is still like that today, only in much more digital version!
